I am not, nor do I have any plans to become, a fashion blogger. But I have heard, from upwards of two of my devoted readers, that they’d like to see how I’m combining my 33 items for Project 333. I feel pretty silly taking photos of myself on a regular basis, but every now and then I will indulge.
And how’s that ol’ project going anyway?
I’ve stopped counting my items, stopped worrying about what I wear on what day and stopped thinking about whether I can make it through. I’m about 40 days in, and my laundry pile is smaller. I am also thinking about what to incorporate back into the mix to keep my wardrobe efficient. And I’m planning on doing a clothing swap and then mass give-away once I get to the end of this. Will I definitely go through all three months? That remains to be seen and may depend on when we get a real cold snap that encourages me to pull in more winter-appropriate pants. But for now, I’m going to keep at it.
Here’s a Sunday brunch outfit: Blue-and-white-stripe button up, black skinny pants and chucks. Topped with a headscarf.
And below is a work outfit: Black-and-white tank, black skirt, raspberry cardigan and flats. The pose is one I like to call “Fashion!” and is probably inspired by this photo.
